Victor A. Shaheen
Victor Anthony Shaheen is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Shaheen Law Firm, P.C. He is also the director of the firm's real estate and relocation practice section with over 25 years of experience in real estate law and civil and criminal litigation. Victor is a member of the Henrico County Bar Association, the Virginia State Bar and the Ohio State Bar and he is admitted to practice in the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. He is certified under RESA, is a member of the Employee Relocation Council, is a Certified Relocation Professional and serves on the Board of Bon Air Title Agency.
Victor was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia of immigrant parents and humble beginnings. He is a St. Christopher's alumnus and the first in his family to graduate from college as a graduate of the University of Richmond. Victor went on to graduate from the University of Richmond, T. C. Williams School of Law. Victor learned the value of hard work and service from his father, Faiz Shaheen, by going to work at a young age at Faiz’s restaurant, Philip’s Continental Lounge, a Richmond institution that opened in 1962.
He founded Shaheen Law Firm, P.C., formerly Shaheen & Shaheen, P.C., in 1995 with his brother, Arthur, and one secretary. Arthur moved to Blacksburg, Virginia and opened his own law firm in 2010.
Shaheen Law Firm now employs multiple attorneys with over 85 years of legal experience and paralegals with over 200 years of experience. Victor’s firm now has offices in Richmond, Newport News, and Virginia Beach. The firm has handled over 75,000 residential real estate transactions and over 30,000 employee relocation departure and destination transactions in its relocation department. He credits the firm’s growth to his and his teammate’s customer service and experience. He distinguishes himself by being available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to everyone that needs him. He gives every person in each transaction his cell phone number.
Shaheen Law Firm’s clients include the largest real estate and relocation companies in the world. Victor has personally represented CEOs of Fortune 100 Companies as well as former Governors, a former Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Virginia, and a member of the Cabinet of the President of the United States of America. Victor regularly teaches classes on residential real estate transactions and the relocation process.
Victor is married with three sons and is proud that all three of his children are lawyers in the Shaheen Law Firm Richmond office. He is a basketball fan and enjoys watching movies and reading business books. His favorite actors are Denzel Washington and Robert De Niro. He is a Motown and classic rock fan, most particularly enjoying the music of Led Zeppelin, the Supremes and the Temptations.

Timothy D. Freshly
Timothy D. Freshly has been an attorney with Shaheen Law Firm since August 1998, working with Real Estate clients and preparing Wills. Born in Alliance, Ohio, Tim grew up with an interest in architecture and originally planned on pursuing a career in architectural design. After graduating from Allegheny College (PA) with a major in Political Science (along with eight varsity letters in Track & Field), Tim moved to Richmond to study law at the University of Richmond's T.C. Williams School of Law.
Practicing Real Estate allows Tim to stay connected with his interest in architecture while helping people accomplish the goal of home ownership. To further his work, Tim has taught real estate courses for the Richmond Association of Realtors and has been a regular speaker for several legal education companies since 2003. He is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Pennsylvania State Bar, and the Henrico County Bar Association.

David M. Ray
Matt, a native of Bath County, Virginia, graduated from Hampden-Sydney College with a B.A. in Political Science where he received the John Marshall Writing Award for excellence in writing on a political science topic. He received his J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama where he was the recipient of Book Awards in Estate and Gift Taxation, Land Use Planning and Constitutional Law. Prior to joining Shaheen Law Firm in 2004, Matt worked at two previous real estate law firms one in Jacksonville, Florida and the other in Chesterfield, Virginia.
Matt is currently licensed to practice law in Virginia and is an inactive member of the Florida Bar. Matt’s practice is concentrated in the areas of residential real estate, employee relocation, estate planning, and personal injury. Outside of the office, Matt enjoys spending time with his family and enjoying the great outdoors.

Amanda J. Sams
Amanda Sams joined Shaheen Law Firm in 2016. She has prior experience in real estate development law in Northern Virginia and now primarily focuses her practice in residential real estate and estate planning. Amanda truly enjoys helping real estate agents, home buyers and sellers navigate their way to closing day. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Virginia Tech and earned her Juris Doctor from The Columbus School of Law at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. Amanda is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the North Carolina State Bar and is licensed to perform real estate closings under RESA.
In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her dog, Wally, cheering on the Virginia Tech Hokies during football season, and escaping to the Outer Banks in North Carolina at every opportunity.

Victor A. Shaheen II
Victor focuses his real estate practice in guiding buyers, sellers, investors, developers, and lenders through residential and commercial transactions. With a keen eye for detail, Victor is adept at navigating the complexities of legal, title, and logistical issues inherent in real estate deals. Cristina G. Nazzario
Cristina Nazzario was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia, after her parents were stationed to Norfolk, Virginia through the United States Navy. After graduating from Old Dominion University, with a double major in Criminal Justice and Sociology, Cristina was awarded a scholarship to attend Regent University School of Law, where she went on to receive her Juris Doctor.
While in law school, Cristina served as Vice Chair for the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board and received awards for Best Brief in an Intramural Moot Board Competition and the Ronald L. Fick Book Award for excellence in Negotiations.
Additionally, Cristina was offered several internships, which included working for a highly regarded criminal and family law firm in Virginia Beach, the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office for the City of Chesapeake, and as a judicial intern for the Chesapeake General District Court.
Cristina joined Shaheen Law Firm in 2020 and provides her legal expertise on all real estate matters. When Cristina is not working, she enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband Caleb, their three boys, and her dog, Riley. She also enjoys going to the beach and is a devoted Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Savannah K. Sargent
Savannah Sargent was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. She attended Clemson University, where she earned a degree in Psychology and graduated with honors. Savannah went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from the from University of Connecticut School of Law. While there Savannah served on the Board of the Diversity Committee, was a member of the Mock Trial Society, and competed in negotiation competitions. During law school Savannah developed a passion for real estate law and now enjoys assisting clients with their real estate transactions. She also enjoys working with clients on their estate planning needs.
Outside of work, Savannah spends most of her time with her family and enjoys watching and attending sporting events. She is an avid College Football fan and enjoys cheering on the Clemson Tigers.

Faiz T. Shaheen
Faiz Shaheen is a member of the firm’s real estate division and litigation team. He advises clients on a wide range of legal concerns, including real estate disputes, personal injury, and estate planning. Learning from his father, Victor Shaheen Sr., Faiz understands the importance of advocating passionately on behalf of our clients.
Faiz received his B.A. in History with a minor in Philosophy from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He then attended the University of Richmond T.C. Williams School of Law. Prior to joining Shaheen Law Firm, Faiz served as a summer judicial intern for the Honorable William C. Mims at the Supreme Court of Virginia. Faiz is a member of the Virginia State Bar and is a licensed Settlement Agent under RESA.
In his free time, Faiz enjoys traveling, playing basketball, and listening to music.

Blaise K. Shaheen
Blaise Shaheen has a general practice with a focus on real estate, personal injury, auto accidents, and estate planning. From a young age, Blaise spent his time at Shaheen Law Firm as a real estate paralegal, interacting with clients and gaining first-hand experience. Learning from his father, Victor Shaheen Sr., Blaise understands the importance of putting his clients first.
Blaise is a Richmond native. After graduating from Benedictine College Preparatory, Blaise attended High Point University where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a minor in Economics. He then received his Juris Doctor from the University of Richmond School of Law.
In his free time, Blaise enjoys reading, playing pickleball, and spending time with his dog, Oakley.
